After some initial confusion about who the hare was for this hash a slightly chilly pack met up at The Chapelhay Tavern. After a near mutiny, the pack was finally ushered outside for the circle. The hares promised a timely run with traditional hashing symbols and no fish hooks.

 

Up hill and down dale the pack wove with some good use of less obvious routes from regroups which kept the hounds busy. Good use of the dying art of 'more-than-one-and-on' which allowed for more checking out at regroups as well. More time consuming in the laying but great fun in the hashing!

 

All this racing around the hills soon led to an injury. Bones 1 crocked himself racing...I mean encouraging...the webmaster up the hill. It makes a change from Bpnes 1 chasing the son in law up the hills I suppose!

 

Arriving back onto Rodwell Road we encountered a fish hook ... but wait... wern't we promised 'No fish hooks'?! Suspiscion fell upon Bones 1 as the usual arch prankster. And rightly so says the scribe...

 

Some clever use of the local snicks, meant that the compact sawdust marked route arrived back on the dot. Well done hares!

 

About a pint or so into the apres hash refreshments, SNoFI arrived with his baggage train. One can only assume he was in training for the circus as his many bags were balanced upon a toy bicycle.

 

On on to the Christmas hash!
