Hare's Report: BRILLIANT HASH!! I laid it in lovely sunshine before a fuck off black cloud appeared and tried to wash me and my hash away. The group of young fast (and devilishly handsome surely??) hashers covered over 6 miles because they kept on going off trail!! 4 miles done and back bang on the hour.

 

Hounds report: Great hash laid by something else. Left Weymouth in brilliant sunshine and got to Dorchester in piddling rain. I once did an essay on 'How setting and atmosphere is used in The Mayor of Casterbridge' which seems like a fitting aside as my mood darkened as I came over Ridgeway and realised I hadn't packed a coat. Now this could be argued that the mood reflected the atmosphere in this case but what is a misemployed literary device between friends?... Anyway the cold soon wore off as the hash progressed. Very glad to reach the ON INN at the end.
