Hares report: What a perfectly laid hash this was: No hills, No rain, no missing hares and no missed bars! After the forced change in venue due to some terrible landlording (may he have found not even coal in his stocking), the accomodating atmosphere of The Kings Arms was welcome.

All hounds (save a couple) arrived in Christmas themed attire. A stocking full of coal was provided for those hounds not suitably dressed to exchange at regroups. Remarkably the coal filled stocking lasted to the end of the hash and will provide the webmaster's BBQ with fuel next year!

The trail made full use of the Chapelhay and Rodwell environs to keep the pack in close proximity to the On Inn. a good amount of thumb-biting and V-flicking was carried out as we passed the aforementioned terribly-landlorded-pub. Repeated laps of the snicks from Chapelhay to Rodwell Avenue gave all hounds some good opportunities for hill training! A missed bar gave the pack a good opportunity to poke fun at the Mismanagement. We blame the rain.

The trail then wound around and up to the green at the end of Bincleaves road where scalding hot mulled wine and mince pies awaited the assembled pack. A free for all On Inn led the hound back to the pub for much merryment and a good laugh at Salmonella's Xmas jumper.
