Hounds report: Great trail set from a great venue. It has been a while since Sub60 H3 hashed from this pub but it is always pleasant to return.

The trail made the best use of the hills and shiggy (and wind) in the surrounding contryside. Calls of ' This is Grizzly training!' were soon beasted out of non compliant hashers. It makes on wonder how we will all cope with dry feet upon the return to the pub. A few less obvious routes and open fields meant that the hounds were kept guessing. Some useful predicitons on the trail route were aired by Wet Patch demonstrating just how able he is to think when not making goo-goo eyes at Scrumpy. Well done Wet Patch!

The return of the coffee club meant lots of huddled gatherings of hashers at regroups whilst the latest Mills and Boon was being discussed two fields over. NOFI said she couldnt comment as SNOFI had been hogging all of the Mills and Boon of late. It was nice to see Salmanella sticking with the coffee club to add some masculine opinions to the Mills and Boon debate. At the final whistle Latex won the discussion with her nomination of 'Rich, Rugged, Rachers' (£1.19 on Kindle http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rugged-Ranchers-Mills-Book-Collections-ebook/dp/B00HN7D078/ref=zg_bs_525014_2/275-1119570-7737131)

Sensing a wolf in their midst a flock of sheep decided to take out the threat and mow Ivor Stent and Just Elvis down at source. Escaping with their lives intact these two hounds could only reflect on the bravery of Just Dervla  the 'Bulll Worrier' and resolve to do better next time.

As nice as the return to the Elm Tree was it was also nice to see the return of Rosie Meldrew at the post trail debrief. Nothing like a dose of encouragement to get the hash diary full!

Superb trail laying and good fun had by all. On On to the next trail!
